The manager of the Victoria’s Secret store, 1499 Post Road, reported last Friday afternoon that 220 sets of women’s underwear — worth $2,130 — were missing from the store.

The apparent theft took place between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., according to the report, and store management is reviewing surveillace video for clues.

The manager said she believes the thief had a “booster bag” to prevent detection of the shoplifted goods because no alarms sounded when the thief left the downtown store.
