Things to do in Fairfield this weekend

Not sure what to do this holiday weekend in Fairfield? Don't labor over your choices, take a cue from this list of suggestions:
Prefer your music a bit funkier? Then Mystic Bowie's show Friday at the Fairfield Theatre Co., 70 Sanford St., is for you. The reggae musician takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $12 in advance and $14 at the door. Visit www.fairfieldtheatre.org or call 203-259-1036.
Saturday head over to the Sherman Green, 1451 Post Road, for "Crafts on the Green" from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Presented by the Fairfield County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Zeta, admission is free and the fair is held rain or shine.
If you still feel the need to do some shopping, there's a moving sale Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 52 Milandale Road that just might do the trick. You'll find an assortment of furniture and household goods.
Take a hike Sunday. Make your way to the Lake Mohegan open space, 960 Morehouse Highway, where 170 acres of hiking trails await to take you on a journey through the cool, shady woods to the old rock quarry and Cascades waterfall.
