Before the Irish can celebrate, there will be a bit of a British invasion Friday when "1964 -- The Beatles Tribute," is staged at 8 p.m. in Sacred Heart University's Edgerton Center, 5151 Park Ave. Tickets are $40 and $25. Call 203-371-7908 or visit www.edgertoncenter.org
Do your part to make the world a better place through the use of manners and mutual respect. Author and manners expert Sara Hacala will be on hand at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road, to help attendees do just that. Admission is free. Stop and think Saturday at the Food for Thought Expo at Fairfield Warde High School, 757 Melville Ave., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The free event offers cooking tips, demonstrations and workshops with local chefs. Sunday is the day for all things Irish. If you still haven't had your fill of music from Erin, head over to the Fairfield Theatre Co., 70 Sanford St., on Sunday night for a performance by the U2 tribute band, U2Nation.
