This weekend in Fairfield promises to be not too hot and not too cool, so get out and about to enjoy the nice weather. Here are some suggestions:
If you insist music sounds better on vinyl, stop by WPKN's "Music Mash 2013," a record fair and sale Saturday at the Fairfield Theatre Co., 70 Sanford St. LPs, CDs and memorabilia will be up for grabs from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a $5 admission for anyone over 12 years old. For hard-core collectors there are early-bird hours from 8 to 10 a.m., but there is a $20 fee for that privilege. For more information, call 917-880-8222 or email email@example.com.
Still not giving up on those New Year's resolutions? Then swing by the Fairfield YMCA on Saturday for an open house, starting at 10 a.m. See the new wellness center, take part in free classes and check out all the other programs at the Y, 841 Old Post Road. For more information visit www.fairfieldy.org or call 203-255-2834.
You know that there are plenty of apps for that, but did you know, "There's a Map for That!"
