Police are investigating the theft of tires and rims from two luxury car dealerships on Commerce Drive. Both thefts were reported Saturday morning, and apparently took place overnight.
The first incident occurred at Devan Infiniti’s overflow lot. A total of eight tires and rims were taken from two cars, according to the report. The value of the missing tires and rims is $11,978.
The second incident was reported by New Country Lexus. The dealer’s body shop was entered by removing a piece of plywood from an overhead door. Four tires and rims, totaling $4,000, were taken from one of the five new Lexus autos in the shop.
