Police are investigating the theft of tires from two Honda Accords owned by the Driving School of Fairfield, 1735 Post Road. The theft occurred between 9 p.m. on Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday, police said.

The cars were propped up on milk crates so the tires could be removed, police said. One tire was stolen from the first vehicle and three tires from the other car. Each tire and rim is valued at $300, and according to the report, this is the second time tires have been stolen from vehicles at the business.
