The program honors Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl who was murdered in 2002 on assignment in Pakistan. The Brooklyn band will perform on at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the university's Quick Center for the Arts.
Girls in Trouble fuses American folk music and underground rock to share one-of-a-kind stories of biblical women. The free concert is part of "Harmony of Humanity" an international network of concerts created after Pearl's murder, in an effort to remind the world of the principles by which he lived.
