FAIRFIELD - After he allegedly failed to pay for a rental car from Nissan Miller in December, Nathaniel Dubose, 66, was arrested on a warrant Friday and charged with sixth-degree larceny.

Police said Dubose rented a car from Dec. 2, 2016 to Dec. 6, 2016. When he returned the car, he said he did not have the $157.09 owed, but would return the next day. He did not return, and the dealership attempted to collect the money from the bank card number Dubose gave for his $250 deposit. The charge was declined.

Dubose was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Bridgeport on Sept. 15.
