In partnership with a nonprofit agency, Westy Self Storage on Kings Highway is serving as a drop-off point for donations of various goods to aid victims of Hurricane Sandy in the tri-state area.

The company said it is collecting donations of pillows, pillow cases, blankets, mops, brooms, buckets, batteries, work gloves, shovels, crow bars, sledge hammers, storage bins and contractor-grade trash bags.

They may be dropped off at Westy's 2070 Kings Highway facility during regular business hours: Weekdays, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Donated goods are being distributed by the nonprofit service organization Family-to-Family, Westy said in a news release.
