Woman charged after dispute with sister in-law

Angelica Dias, 43, of Sunrise Avenue, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct after a fight with her sister in-law Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Dias and her sister in-law had been arguing over the telephone when the sister-in-law hung up on her. Dias showed up a short time later at the Borosky Road house where the sister in-law was, shoved her and scratched her face and arm. police said. When officers arrived at the home, both women were sitting on the couch and the victim was holding her face and crying.

Dias was released on a promise to have appeared Wednesday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
