Alexandra Thompson, 21, of Gloucester, Mass., was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive right after police said they saw her weaving into the eastbound lane of the Post Road around 3:20 a.m. Saturday.
Thompson was driving west on the Post Road, and her speed at time dipped below the 25 mph speed limit. At one point, she came to a complete stop, police said.
She told police she was coming from New York City and was trying to get back to Boston. There was a strong odor of alcohol on Thompson's breath, according to the report, and she failed field sobriety tests, polie said.
She was held on a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear June 18 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
