Kristin McCann, 39, of Marie Street, Milford, was arrested on a warrant Thursday by Fairfield police and charged in connection with an August shoplifting incident.
The manager at CVS, 1968 Black Rock Turnpike, told police that he saw McCann come into the store with two girls and fill a cart with baby formula, according to the report. McCann had been warned previously not to return to the store. When confronted by the manager, she and the girls fled with some of the merchandise and got into a waiting car.
Police located McCann through the car's registration and, when contacted by police, she admitted to taking $42 worth of Enfamil, police said.
She was charged with sixth-degree larceny, risk of injury to a minor and first-degree criminal trespass. McCann was held on a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear Nov. 9 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
