Paulina Lewandowska, 24, and Elizabeth Vega, 28, both face charges after a fight Saturday afternoon at Lewandowska's Fiske Street home that left them both with scratches, police said.

Vega arrived at the Fiske Street home looking for child support from her ex-boyfriend, who is now dating Lewandowska, according to the report. The boyfriend attempted to break up the fight, but also ended up with scratches on his neck, police said.

Vega, who lives on Putnam Street in Bridgeport and had three children in the car, said Lewandowska came outside and pulled her hair and punched her. Vega had a swollen lip and a scratched face, according to the report. She was charged with breach of peace, third-degree assault, and disorderly conduct.

Lewandowska said she was defending herself and that there is a protective order in place against Vega. Police could not find any record of a protective order. Lewandowska also had scratches on her face, according to the report. She was charged with breach of peace and third-degree assault.

The state Department of Children and Families was notified, police said.

Both woman were released on a promise to have appeared Monday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
