Fairfield Public Library will hold a free two-hour workshop for parents whose babies will not go to sleep at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, in the children's program room at the main library, 1080 Old Post Road.

Ingrid Prueher, a baby sleep specialist who teaches sleep fundamentals to parents so they can teach their children how to sleep, will discuss sleep development at different ages as well as nap, bedtime and feeding plans. She will also talk about various sleep approaches available to make an informed decision about what sleep approach is right for one's family, according to a release.

Prueher is a certified Family Sleep Institute Child Sleep consultant and parenting educator.
