Nello Ceccarelli died at the age of 94 on Thursday July 29, 2010. Ceccarelli served on the fairiled RTM for 55 years and in 2007 he was given a proclamation by Fairfield First Selectman Ken Flatto, right. Joe Gall, left, also gave Ceccarelli a medal an honorary membership in the American Legion. Flatto declared Dec. 7 to be Nello Ceccarelli day in Fairfield. Photo: B.K.
