Letter: Tears for Newtown but not abortions

With January marking the 40th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, I thought I'd put in my two cents.

Isn't it strange that the one occupying the Oval Office feels such compassion for the 26 victims murdered by a mentally disturbed person in Newtown but thinks nothing about the fact that Planned Parenthood claims direct responsibility for killing over 6 million unborn babies, including a record 333,964 abortions in 2011 alone, and yet Planned Parenthood remains his favorite organization?

Those 20 babies who were murdered in Newtown were loved by their parents, and but for their parents choosing not to abort them, they came to mean more to them than the world. I know how my heart would have been broken if one had been my child.

So, when I see a politician using his finger to brush away a tear to show his sympathy for those beautiful murdered kids but believes it's just fine to murder others because he can't hear them cry before they're born, I'd say he has a heart of stone. And I'd say his real agenda is to disarm the law-abiding citizens of this nation who wouldn't murder anyone but leave Planned Parenthood alone to murder millions of innocent babies.

Hypocritical wouldn't you say?
