One section of the bluestone walkway has a large, inlaid circle of red brick.
A decorative millwork arch frames the front entrance, which also has attractive sidelights and a transom of leaded glass. The transom opens to allow a gentle breeze into the large center hall foyer. A door at the rear of the foyer also has a transom.
Inside the 5,421-square-foot house, there is a unifying theme in the millwork. The fluted columns of the façade are repeated in the foyer and the mantle of the wide brick fireplace in the living room. There is chair railing in the foyer, living room and the banquet-sized dining room. French doors in the living room lead into a large screened porch.
The family room features a box bay window, which is typical of Cameron Clark construction, and built-in shelving framed in the same fluted columns as seen elsewhere.
Features in the spacious kitchen include a honed granite floor, Carrera marble countertops, marble backsplash, a huge trapezoidal-shaped center island with a breakfast bar for four, pot-filler over the range, eat-in area and a built-in desk area. Appliances include a Sub-Zero refrigerator, commercial Thermador six-burner range and hood, and Bosch dishwasher.
Off the kitchen is the mudroom, which has a polished granite floor and built-in kennel. Also in this area of the house are the laundry room, storage closet and half bath.
