Fairfield Superintendent of Schools David Title will host an informal brown-bag lunch for the public at noon Friday in the education offices, 501 Kings Highway East.
Title will discuss the proposed 2011-12 budget, which stands right now at $148,505,841, an increase of 4.9 percent over the current spending plan. He outlined his budget proposal for the Board of Education on Tuesday night, but the board has yet to act on it.
A question-and-answer period will follow.
