Evans, Washington lead Sacred Heart women's basketball over Manhattan, 55-38

FAIRFIELD -- Kiley Evans and Gabrielle Washington scored 15 points apiece to lead Sacred Heart over Manhattan, 55-38, in a non-league women's basketball matchup Monday night.

With the game tied 25-25 at halftime, the Pioneers (5-4) used an 11-0 run to pull away. The Jaspers (2-7) were held to just 13 points in the second half and shot only 25.0 percent (13-for-52) from the floor in the game.

Enjoli Bland added six points and a game-high 10 rebounds for Sacred Heart, while Ashley Stec was the only Manhattan player to reach double digits in scoring with 12 points.
