Fairfield Wildcats report: Seventh Graders shut out New Canaan

Jack Curtis put the Wildcats on the board early with a 28-yard touchdown run on Sunday afternoon. Timmy Jacobi lifted the Wildcats' lead to 12-0 with a 17-yard romp. Joey Turner's point-after made it 13-0.
Justin Keith's interception return for a touchdown extended the lead to 19-0. New Canaan was deep in Wildcats' territory in the first half's final minutes when Jack Hogarth foiled New Canaan's drive with an interception.
Hogarth recorded a second interception and Zach Taylor's fumble recovery helped clinch the Fairfield shutout. The Seventh-grade team enters the playoffs with a 7-1 record.

The Fifth-grade team lost its final regular season game 33-13 in New Canaan Saturday.
Ben Pulsifer recorded two touchdown runs, scoring from 30 and 40 yards out respectively.
Fourth graders take down Norwalk
The Fourth-grade team finished the regular season with a 21-6 victory over Norwalk Green.
The Wildcats' defense set the tone early when Jack McKenna forced a fumble and recovered, which set up Andrew Conklin's 30-yard touchdown pass to Jack Morison. Dylan Igram caught a 5-yard pass for the 2-point conversion.
Conklin's second-quarter quarterback sneak made it 14-0. Jack Gremse capped off the scoring for Fairfield with two strong runs for a total of 40 yards and a touchdown with Lorenzo Cooper running in the extra point.
The Wildcats finished the regular season with a 5-3 record and will play their first playoff game this weekend.

The Third Grade team was led by Harrison Keith's three touchdowns as it downed Ridgefield, 30-27.
