The next collection for Falcons Give Back is Thursday. Other collections will be scheduled for later in the school year.

This fall the Give Back is collecting for Operation Hope's pantry at 50 Nichols Street, which has been running low. The collection is being sponsored by all eight Falcons' fall sports teams. Items can be brought to the Fairfield Ludlowe High School on Thursday. There will be a drop box in the main administration office all day. Also, athletes will collect donated goods from parents and students in the morning outside the high school at the bus and car drop off areas.

Items that Operation Hope, whose offices are at 636 Old Post Road, is seeking to receive include travel size shampoo, tooth brushes, tooth paste, toilet paper, shaving cream, canned spaghetti, canned fruit, canned meats and stews, canned tuna fish, ketchup, mustard, soap, disposable razors, deodorant, peanut butter, jelly, mayonnaise and pudding.
