Vs. Somerset, Thursday through Saturday: 1B Jesse Hoorelbeke. Through Friday, the former Bluefish was hitting .299 with nine doubles, 14 home runs, 35 RBIs and 30 runs scored in 65 games with the Patriots.

York at Somerset, Wednesday (7:05 p.m.): The Patriots will hold open-contestant auditions for "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire'' at TD Bank Ballpark. The first 2,500 fans in attendance (18 or older) will have the chance to take the timed, multiple-choice audition test starting at 6:40 p.m. in an attempt to qualify as a contestant. If they score high enough, participants will be able to interview with producers of the show at the ballpark to advance to the next stage to become possible contestants. All participants must have a ticket to the game.

Fehlandt Lentini of the Lancaster Barnstormers hit .500 (10-for-20) with two doubles, two home runs, seven RBIs and five runs scored in five games to earn Connecticut Post Player of the Week honors for Aug. 5-10. ¦ Somerset Patriots INF Jake Fox (.388, 7 HRs, 20 RBIs in 21 games) was signed by the Philadelphia Phillies organization Aug. 4. He reported to Class AAA Lehigh Valley. ¦ Southern Maryland OF Brian Barton was named the Atlantic League Player of the Month for July. He hit .443 with six doubles, two home runs, 13 RBIs and 18 runs scored in 25 games last month. ¦ Sugar Land Skeeters LHP Jason Lane, who hit 61 homers for the Houston Astros and San Diego Padres as an outfielder from 2002-07, was named the Atlantic League Pitcher of the Month for July. He was 2-0 with a 1.49 ERA and one shutout in five starts (36ï»¿1/3 innings) last month. He also had a stretch of 23 scoreless innings over three starts from July 14-25.
