Greenwich High girls ski team goes 3-0 in first day of action

The Greenwich High School girls skiing team opened its season with victories over Darien, Berlin and Glastonbury.
The Cardinals registered a total team time of 322.55. Kristin Sitarz paced the Cardinals with a time of :51.60 seconds. Meg Robinson and Alice Pehrson also turned in strong performances for Greenwich, which placed five skiers in the top 30.
Greenwich's boys team went 2-3 in its first day of action, beating Berlin and Litchfield and losing to Darien, Glastonbury and New Canaan. Rogers Winters finished 17th with a time of 49.08, while Will Sisca was 28th (out of 84 competitors) with a 51.20 finish. The team's overall time was 311.36. Darien finished with a time of 311.06.
