CAMDEN, N.J. -- Luis Lopez hit a three-run home run in the Bridgeport Bluefish's four-run ninth inning as the Bluefish posted a 5-3 come-from-behind victory over the Camden Riversharks Monday night.
Bridgeport trailed 3-1 going into the top of the ninth.
Brett Dowdy singled to lead off the inning and later scored on Eddie Rogers' putout to pull the Bluefish within one run at 3-2.
Lopez's eighth home run of the season scored Kennard Jones and Prentice Redman to put Bridgeport up for good.
Bluefish starting pitcher Gilbert De La Vara (8-6) earned the win, allowing three runs and six hits in eight innings of work.
Relief pitcher Juan Rincon picked up his eighth save of the season, striking out two and walking two in the ninth.
Lopez, Jones, Rogers and James Simmons each had two hits for Bridgeport.
Pedro Feliz hit a RBI-double and Brian Burgamy and Eduardo Perez each hit a RBI-single in Camden's three-run first inning.
John Lujan (2-4) took the loss for Camden, allowing four runs, four hits and two walks in the ninth. The two teams play the second game of a three-game series tonight at 7:05 p.m.
