Despite overcoming a 14-point deficit, the Fairfield Ludlowe girls basketball team was outscored 14-9 in the fourth quarter of a 40-36 loss to Brookfield on Wednesday in the Todd Burger Holiday Tournament semifinals at Fairfield Ludlowe High School.

Sarah Nesi led the Falcons with 13 points and five rebounds.

Brookfield was led by Julia Depoi, who scored 20 points as the Bobcats won their first game of the year. Brookfield will play Warde in the tournament final on Thursday at 7 p.m.
