Ludlowe wrestling improves to 2-0

Fairfield Ludlowe's wrestling team improved to 2-0, defeating Greens Farms Academy 59-18

on Wednesday in Fairfield.

Ludlowe won the first 10 matches with four pins, building a 54-0 lead. Matt Garoffolo started the match at 220, pinning Trent Turner at 3:34 off a double-leg takedown.

Ben Batulanon (113), Bobby Clark (126) and Kyle Decruccio (132) each also pinned his opponent. Ben Brzoski (182) won by technical fall ,19-4.

Peter Clark (145) and Marcus Sherrod (120) each won hard-fought bouts by decision.

Ludlowe will travel to Bristol Eastern, Saturday, for a six-team meet.
