The Brunswick School wrestling team put the finishing touch on its dominant regular season, routing Trinity School, 74-6, on Tuesday.

With the win, the Bruins concluded their dual meet season with a record of 22-2. Matt Marvin, a 195-pound sophomore, competed in the most competitive match of the day.

Marvin, who won the deciding match against Greenwich High last week, pinned his Trinity opponent in double overtime. Jack Jones (106) of Brunswick pinned his foe in the second period, while teammate Rohan Das (113) used a last second reversal to grind out a 4-2 decision. Bruins junior Owen Schubert (126) won by pinfall and ended the season as the team leader in victories (29), pins (17) and team points earned (125). He is 29-5 on the season.

Tri-captains Connor Kupersmith (152) and Jimmy Bell (132) each earned their 27th victories and 16th pins of the season for the Bruins. Griffin Thomas and Gregg Naban also won their matches by pinfall, while Michael Keating topped his foe by technical fall.
