CSH 3 Dana Hall 0: Convent of the Sacred Heart defeated Danna Hall of Wellesley, Mass., 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-23) in the NEPSAC Class B quarterfinals. The Tigers were led by the play of Grace McKenney (7 service points, 25 assists, 5 digs); Alex Jordan (11 service points, 6 kills, 4 digs); Maggie Ellison (6 service points, 4 kills, 7 digs) and Devon Hoffman (7 kills, 7 blocks).

Cushing 3, Greenwich Academy 0: Greenwich Academy (11-4) saw its season come to an end with a 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-20) loss to Cushing Academy of Ashburnham, Mass., in the NEPSAC volleyball quarterfinals Wednesday.

"The girls had a lot of unforced errors which made them play too cautiously, and it backfired leading to more errors," GA coach Christy Girard said. "Unfortunately we did not play with our usual energy."

Taylor Ohman lead the way for the Gators with 24 assists. Tyla Taylor had 8 kills (ace),1 block, and 9 digs. Also contributing for Greenwich Academy were Kayla Johnson (7 kills, 2 blocks), Grace Evans (6 kills, 3 digs) and Susan Zhou (5 digs, 11 service points).

"I'm very proud of how well we did this season," Girard said. "We were ranked higher than ever and undefeated in the FAA. This was supposed to be our rebuilding season after losing six seniors last year. We will be again losing six seniors this season who were terrific leaders and role models for our team and our school."
