The Fairfield Warde boys lacrosse team, seeded 11th in the CIAC Class L state tournament, advanced to the quarterfinals Saturday by defeating No. 6 Glastonbury 7-4 on Wednesday.
The Mustangs (12-6) will play at No. 3 Ridgefield at 3 p.m.
`Show Me' co-ed
Boys and girls who will be in grades four through nine for the 2014-15 school year are eligible to enroll in a basketball skills clinic on July 7-11, from 9 a.m. to noon, in Fairfield Ludlowe High School's two gyms.
It will be conducted by Ludlowe boys basketball coach John Dailey, with help from high school and college players.
Cost is $175 for each clinic camper.

Fun in the Sun Lax will be conducting a lacrosse camp for girls in grades K-8 on Monday, June 23 through Thursday, June 26 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Weston High School stadium turf field.
High school coaches from Fairfield Ludlowe (Heather Lewsey), Fairfield Warde (Tom Davis), Weston and Joel Barlow will be the instructors.

The Ryan Swaller Basketball Academy will run from July 7-11 from 9 a.m.-noon. The cost of the camp is $160. The camp will be held at Fairfield Warde High School.
The camp will focus on individual skills along with team concepts. The camp is open to grades 4-9 (players who are entering high school for 2014-15).

Three sessions have been planned for the David M. Danko Basketball Academy Co-Ed. Cost is $199 per player for sessions one and three; $100 for session two campers.
The camp will stress shooting, moves in the post, rebounding, fastbreak, ball handling, passing, moving off the ball, getting open and setting screens as well as offensive and defensive philosophy.
A discount ($150) will be offered for registering two or more players.
