In case you didn't know, there's a pretty big football game in Fairfield on Thursday.

Ludlowe will play Warde in the annual Thanksgiving contest. The series is tied at 3 games apiece since the rivalry renewed in 2005.

We're letting the alumni, fans and followers of both teams to chime in and make picks on the big game. If you want to make a pick, send your name, pick and explanation to ppickens@bcnnew.com. Keep it clean, and your prediction will go on our site.

Here are some of the predictions we've gotten so far.

"Warde 31, Ludlowe 3. Go Crimson Eagles!"

"Warde."

-Sean Patrick Bowley, Connecticut Post High School football guru

"Unless the Warde bus breaks down on the way, Ludlowe has no chance. Falcons have been outscored 339-72 this year."

-Eric Gendron, Main Street Connect

"I think Warde is going to win."

-Eliot Schickler, Westport News Sports Editor

I am hoping for an overtime game! Though based on reviewing the records, it seems the Warde Mustangs have the edge going into this year's Turkey Classic. It does pain an old Flying Tiger to say that!

-Mike Tetreau, Fairfield First Selectman

"As a Fairfield High graduate (Class of `93), I have to root for Warde...they kept our mascot and team colors of red, white, & black, plus they've been doing well overall this season. GO MUSTANGS!"

Jennifer Hochberg, Fairfield Representative Town Meeting Member, District 7
