Fairfield Warde had five of its wrestlers finish second as the Mustangs were runner-up to a dominating Danbury team in the FCIAC championships Saturday.

Pharoah Eaton (132 pounds), Kevin Kollar (152), Joey Muratori (160), James Heinzman (182) and Mike Money (285) came in second as the Mustangs finished with 189.5 points, well behind favorite Danbury's 330 points. The Hatters won nine of the 14 weight classes and had two other wrestlers finish second.

Besides its five second's, the Mustangs had seven other wrestlers place in the top-six. Warde finished 57 points ahead of third-place Greenwich and 57.5 points better than fourth-place Trumbull.

Fairfield Ludlowe, which got a second from Henry Wales at 126, took fifth with 113.5 points. The Falcons fifth-place finish was its second best showing ever at the FCIAC meet.

The Falcons had four other wrestlers-- Alex Sullivan (152), Nic Catlin (138), Ben Brzoski (170) and Mike Pierri (285)-- place in the top-six, with Sullivan taking fifth. Catlin, Brzoski and Pierri each finished sixth.
