The Gray Goose, a Euro-style tavern, takes flight this evening in Southport.

Doors are set to open at 5 p.m. at the new emporium, renovated in the building at 246 Old Post Road, which previously housed the Wine Knot.

Partners in the business are long-time restaurateurs Tommy Febbraio and Kevin McHugh, joined by Fairfield native Peter Mennona.

Renovations include a stone patio complete with a fireplace.
