Music and comedy have always been at the center of Wayne Brady’s success. He’s been entertaining audiences with his singing, acting and wildly creative improv skills for more than a decade.

The talented comic will do more of that when he appears at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Saturday, May 7. There’s no telling what will happen when he hits the Fox Theater stage, because when it comes to improv, even he doesn’t know.

Brady’s career really took off in 1998 with the TV program, “Whose Line is it Anyway?” His outstanding work on that improv comedy show, which is returning this month with all-new episodes, led to a 2003 Emmy Award.

He also won two Emmys for the two seasons he hosted his own syndicated talk show, “The Wayne Brady Show.” The program also won an Emmy for “Outstanding Talk Show.”

Conquering stage and television wasn’t enough for Brady. He was nominated for a Grammy in 2008 for his performance of “A Change is Gonna Come,” an R&B song off his debut album, “A Long Time Coming.”

In addition, Brady released a children’s album, “Radio Wayne,” which took the top spot on iTunes and Amazon kids charts.
