This exciting new series produced by Jeffrey C. Williams debuts with MAC and Bistro Award-winning singer Karen Oberlin, fresh from her critically-acclaimed three-week engagement at the Algonquin Hotel's legendary Oak Room.
She brings highlights from her hit, highly-acclaimed shows at The Oak Room, Feinstein's at the Regency and Iridium Jazz Club together for an exciting, freshly-developed set for a new season at the Ritz Supper Club on Saturday, Oct. 30 at Ristorante Cinzano's 1920 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield. Oberlin will sing songs from a wide variety of songwriters, from the heart and heartbreak of Kern, Arlen and Sondheim to the wonderful wit of Porter, Harburg and Loesser.
The New York Times recently said that Oberlin has "Impeccable pop style and musical intelligence... Beyond having a pretty voice, poise and interpretive insight, Ms. Oberlin is a thorough researcher."
Rex Reed wrote, "Thrilling! Oberlin is lovely to look at as she is to hear. Her singing rings true and funny and flawless," and Cabaret Scenes said, "Like a breath of spring, Karen Oberlin's lush vocal renditions filled the air of the historic Oak Room. It feels as if she hugs each lyric; Oberlin is joyous to behold."
Oberlin will be joined on the keys by jazz piano giant Jon Weber.
The price per night in this sensational new series includes a delectable multi-course meal at Fairfield's popular Ristorante Cinzano's, followed by spectacular New York cabaret entertainment.
