Treehouse Comedy Productions is hosting Gilbert Gottfried at Strand Theater in Seymour on Saturday, Sept. 28, for an evening of not-so-typical stand-up comedy by one of the country’s most outrageous comedic artists.

That same evening, social media and internet comedy sensation Anthony Rodia, aka “Uncle Vinny,” returns to The Treehouse Comedy Club in Westport for an encore performance following June’s sold-out show and his September 28h early-show sell-out. A second show has been added by popular demand at 9:15 that same evening.

Known for his skits, song parodies and his weekly “Road Rage Wednesday” with his popular character “Uncle Vinny,” Rodia is a first generation Italian comedian and is now being called the “King of off the boat Comedy.” On stage, Rodia talks about everything from marriage and kids to growing up in an Italian American household.

Gottfried’s comedy career spans decades, from a “Saturday Night Live” cast member back in the’80s, to the critically acclaimed documentary “Gilbert.”
