Things to do: Bridgeport's Klein hosts outdoor concerts

An all-ages socially distanced outdoor concert series is coming to the Bridgeport’s Klein Memorial Auditorium parking lot Saturdays Sept. 26 through Oct. 17.

The Main Stage at The Klein series line-up is Sept. 26: Jen Durkin’s Steal Your Funk, The Name Droppers and The Vicki F. Band; Oct. 3: Phat A$tronaut, Ceschi, Mandala and The Hooch; Oct. 10: The Zambonis, Sgt Scag and Chaser Eight; and Oct. 17: Rah Digga, Dutty Winehouse, Sidestep Complex, Paranormal Adam, Unikron and Stars of Beyond.

Gates open at 1 p.m. and the music starts at 2. Tickets are $25 each, with $5 off each ticket when buying four or more. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Mental Health CT’s #TourForLife. Attendees will be assigned a spot prior to the show based on availability.

Tickets must be purchased in advance, with none sold after 6 p.m. on the Thursday before each show. The rain date is the Sunday after each scheduled show. Visit for tickets and more information.

Attendees must wear a mask at all times except when eating or drinking and remain six feet apart, excluding immediate family and household members. Ticket and concessions sales are by credit card only. Do not attend if you are feeling sick or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Staff will take temperatures at the door. By attending the event(s), you assume all risks involved with your participation and/or attendance.
