Instagram has become the place to find the trendiest everything–from fashion to travel, celebrities and food. That last one is what USA Today asked Instagram to do a little research on.

With help from the social media site, USA Today rounded up the most geo-tagged restaurant in each state. In Connecticut, it may not come as a big surprise that the most Instagrammed restaurant is Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in New Haven famous for its unique white clam pizza.

Frank Pepe Pizzeria was founded in 1925 by Italian-born Frank Pep. "Frank Pepe was the quintessential Italian immigrant. Poor and illiterate, he immigrated to the United States in 1909 at age 16 with little more than his health and a strong work ethic," the site writes.

The pizzeria and New Haven-style pizza in general have become a Connecticut icon. Frank Pepe has expanded to open locations in Fairfield, Danbury, Yonkers, Manchester, West Hartford, Waterbury, Mohegan Sun and even one in Massachusetts.
