Opportunities for artists with disabilities will be the topic of a panel discussion from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 17 in the Ellen Hyde Phillips Gallery at the Fairfield Arts Center, 70 Sanford St.

The discussion, which is part of the current exhibition CHANGE, a juried show featuring work by artists with disabilities, will be moderated by Dr. Martha S. LoMonaco, professor of theater for the Department of Visual & Performing Arts at Fairfield University, and include Margaret Bodell, curator; Donald Axleroad, artist and teacher; Gerard Gasparino, manager of development and recreation for Stamford-based Always Reaching for Independence; and John Downing, chairman of the ARI board, whose daughter, Samantha, is one of the exhibiting artists.
