Artists Karen Vogel and Liana Moonie will hold solo art exhibits in June at ArtPlace Gallery, 11 Unquowa Road.

A reception will be held 4 to 6 p.m. June 11 at the gallery.

Both exhibits draw on different printmaking techniques to express their appreciation of nature.

Born in Italy, Moonie of Greenwich has exhibited in 20 solo shows as well as juried and invitational shows. Moonie is listed in "Who's Who in American Art" and "Who's Who of American Women," and is represented in the Library of the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C.

She has a private art studio in Stamford.

Vogel of Darien has had prints and paintings featured in museums and galleries across the country, and in her personal studio in Norwalk, where she teaches printmaking. Private and corporate patrons have also collected her work.

She is a member of the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in Norwalk, Women's Caucus's Art and ArtPlace Gallery.
