The gift shop at the Fairfield Museum and History Center is under the new management of Fairfield interior designer Bobby Sue Smart Russell.

The shop carries a range of new inventory, including dogwood jewelry by Fairfield jewelry designer Michael Michaud, watercolors by Peter C. Saverine of Southport and holiday and theme-oriented notecards by Kassie Foss of Westport. The store's other items include birdhouse key chains, soaps and unusual candles. The shop also has copies of a book of retrospective photographs by photojournalist Bill Eppridge as part of the museum's newest exhibit, "Images 2011."

There is no admission for the gift shop and it is not restricted to museum visitors. Museum members save 10 percent on any shop items over $10. Shop proceeds support the museum's exhibitions and education programs.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the week and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
