The Fairfield Arts Center, in partnership with the Jamie A. Hulley Arts Foundation, is issuing a call for entries for its third annual High School Juried Exhibition.

Students from Fairfield, Westport, Bridgeport, Easton, Monroe, Stratford, Trumbull, Weston and Wilton are invited to submit artwork in the categories of sculpture, painting, drawing, printmaking and photography. Up to $2,650 in scholarship money will be awarded.

The opening reception will take place on April 3 from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Ellen Hyde Phillips Gallery, 70 Sanford St., Fairfield.

The jurors are: Ulla Surland, an interior and fashion designer, fine art photographer, teacher and former gallery owner who specialized in presenting the works of emerging and mid-career contemporary artists; David Lubarsky, a New York-based commercial photographer whose work has been published and exhibited widely including at the Louis K. Meisel and Nikon House galleries and is featured in the permanent collection of the Museum of the City of New York; and Joseph Paschke, a Pulitzer Prize-winning creative director who has been affiliated with Time Warner, American Express, Hearst and Dow Jones and whose work has appeared in Travel & Leisure, Worth, Smart Money and Fortune magazines.

Submissions should be delivered to the FAC on March 28 and 29 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Teachers are encouraged to submit on behalf of their students.
