Fairfield writer Elizabeth Keyser has won four awards in the Connecticut Press Club's annual contest.

She will receive the awards at the club's annual banquet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Shore and Country Club in Norwalk.

Keyser won first place for her online feature article, "From Dollars & Cents to Common Sense: John Turenne;" second place for her informational, "Hail Kale & Seed is Good;" second place for her specialized essay, "A Bite of Turkey & Expensive Tastes," and third place for her food article, "Farm Feasts." The club will present 91 awards in 13 categories judged by the Pennsylvania Press Club.

Cost of the banquet, which includes a three-course dinner, is $50 per person.
