Fairfield Ludlowe High School's athletic department is sponsoring "Falcons Give Back" every Thursday startingtomorrow. The Falcons girls basketball and wrestling teams will be collecting items for the homeless at the Thomas Merton House in Bridgeport.

"Falcons Give Back" is part of a new initiative being spearheaded by the Ludlowe Athletic Department, to support local charities with their most dire needs. Members of the Ludlowe Community, including students, faculty, administration and others wishing to contribute should bring their goods to the quick drop off in the front and rear of the school at the beginning of the school day. There will also be a box drop off in the school office during the day. The goods will be delivered directly to The Merton House by the athletes on Saturday or Sunday.

Those interested in donating can give hygiene products (travel size: toothpaste, lotion toothbrushes, shampoo, combs and vaseline and bandages), men's and womens socks, underwear and t-shirts, and mugs and dish and face cloths.
