The Small Business Strategies series at the Fairfield Public Library will tackle "The Legal Issues of Social Networking" at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 in the Rotary Room.

Richard L. Santalesa, senior counsel, Information Law Group Topics, will address a round-up of legal issues to consider before and during any social networking, such as copyright and trademarks infringement, conditions in social network site terms of use, third-party content issues, potential employment policy issues, defamation and other tort traps.

Admitted to the bars in New York, Connecticut and Washington, D.C., he counsels clients in technology-based issues, including the areas of electronic commerce and the Internet issues, privacy and data security, software and website development.
