STAMFORD — About two dozen students celebrated their achievements in the Alternate Routes to School (ARTS) program during a recognition ceremony Wednesday night at the Academy of Information & Technology, 411 High Ridge Road.

RISE students Dasha Beliard and Sharay Coley spoke and Smith J. St. Juste, the co-owner and executive chef at La Perle, provided the keynote address.

The ARTS students, of which there are 41 soon-to-be graduates, also have the option of participating in the city’s traditional cap-and-gown high school graduations on Monday.
