Bronx women charged with Target shoplifting
STAMFORD — Two women from the Bronx were charged with stealing $1,300 worth of merchandise from Target on Tuesday afternoon.
Sgt. Robert Shawinsky said police were called by Target workers, who said were detaining two suspects who had taken $1,329 worth of merchandise. Store security said they watched the two enter the store and fill their shopping carts up with items from the Dollar Spot.
Katherine Puntiel, 30, and Ivette Arias, 52, were charged with fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny and were released on a promise to appear in court.
