Greenwich Historical Society and Greenwich Point Conservancy are hosting a Founders’ Day Commemoration on Thursday, July 18, at Innis Arden Cottage, Greenwich Point Park.

Winners of This Place Matters! photo competition will be announced at the event, and tours of Feake-Ferris House will be available to attendees.

The program, running from 10 to 10:45 a.m., will feature Greenwich First Selectman Peter J. Tesei’s opening remarks, State Rep. Livvy Floren reading the 1640 deed establishing Greenwich, Historical Society Executive Director and CEO Debra Mecky announcing winners of This Place Matters! photo competition, Greenwich Point Conservancy President Christopher Franco discussing Feake-Ferris restoration.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., attendees will be able to take tours of Feake-Ferris House, Greenwich’s oldest home, restored by the Conservancy. Transportation will be provided by shuttle between Innis Arden Cottage and Feake-Ferris House.
