STAMFORD — It’s no secret that parking, and the space for it, has become a growing concern in the business-heavy South End as buildings and apartments are being built and renovated.

Members of the Board of Representatives will address this particular issue tonight at a Transportation Committee meeting in the Republican Caucus Room on 4th floor of the Government Center located on 888 Washington Blvd.

Chair of the Transportation Committee Rep. Steve Kolenberg, R-16, submitted the topic for review in April this year. The agenda item has been postponed in recent months until its review tonight.

According to the meeting notice, Transportation Bureau Chief Jim Travers and Customer Service Supervisor Frank Fedeli are invited to the meeting to discuss this and other items like the new parking system with on-line payments and a review of the parking ticket appeal process.
