Pets of the Week: Cat Tales offering sibling Tabbys for adoption

MIDDLETOWN — Orange Tabby brothers Bert and Ernie, both 10 years of age, are available for adoption from Cat Tales of Middletown.

These orange, domestic short-hair felines were abandoned at a feral colony, according to Cat Tales. “These boys are super-friendly and affectionate with people and each other,” the nonprofit organization said.

Both have some special needs: Ernie’s blood pressure needs to be managed and Bert is blind in one eye, has food allergies and mild arthritis, Cat Tales said. “While they do have some challenges, those challenges do not outweigh the love these two have to give. They must be adopted together and are looking for a loving family or person in a quiet home where they can spend their days.”

These cats are on a special diet and will go to a home without dogs, other cats or children.
