Approximately $150,000 worth of jewelry was reported missing Monday from a Fairfield Woods Road home. Several open jewelry boxes were found tossed on a bed and several dresser drawers were open.

Among the pieces of jewelry reported taken were a pearl necklace, antique rings, gold bracelets with black pearls and watches.

The owner told police the theft likely took place between 1:30 and 2:45 p.m.

There were no signs of forced entry. Police believe the thief entered the home through an open garage.
